One more BJP worker killed in West Bengal, 121 workers killed so far

Calcutta, Ta. 12 November 2020, Thursday

Another BJP worker has been killed in a bloody game in West Bengal. There are fears that violence could escalate in West Bengal as the Assembly elections approach.

Amid PM Modi's warning to Mamata Banerjee's government on the issue, BJP activist Gokul Jenna has been beaten to death in Bhagwanpura assembly constituency in Medinipur area. BJP leaders have accused Mamata Banerjee's party Trinamool Congress leaders of murder.

Gokul, whose body was found in the jungle with injuries, is believed to have been beaten to death with sticks. The BJP has said that the Trinamool Congress is fanning the flames of violence in the state in which 121 BJP workers have been killed. The police are silent and are not taking any action against the killers. The job of the police is to deal with such cases.

BJP leader Shaitan Basu said that the NDA government has been formed in Bihar and now it is the turn of Bengal. A BJP government will also be formed in Bengal and all the violence will be answered at that time.

He alleged that Gokul, who had advised the village Trinamool Congress sarpanch to stay at home as he was suffering from corona, had killed Gokul over the matter.
