Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat is not going to retire in 2024 as his goal is to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. Rahul Gandhi may or may not become the Prime Minister, but Harish Rawat has made it clear that he will be seen in the 2022 Assembly elections. This is because the BJP does not believe Harish Rawat's statement.

BJP state president Banshidhar Bhagat has taken aim at the statement of former CM Harish Rawat, who retired from politics after Rahul Gandhi became the Prime Minister in 2024.
