Lalu Prasad lures NDA leaders for PM post: Sushil Modi

- Lalu is not even sitting in jail, Tejaswi wants a government

Patna 25th November 2020 Wednesday

Sushil Modi had alleged that Lalu Yadav, the undisputed king of Bihar, who was jailed in the fodder scam, was luring NDA MLAs for the PM's job.

According to him, Lalu Yadav was trying to establish his son Tejaswi Yadav's government in Bihar at any cost. RJD was going to be the largest party in the recent Bihar Assembly elections but its allies had a run for its money as a result of which Tejaswi could not become the Chief Minister. The rest of the hard work was done by Tejaswi Yadav.

In the opinion poll, Tejaswi Yadav had predicted that he would become the Chief Minister. But the NDA, including the BJP and JD (U), backed Tejaswi. JD (U) 's Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister again.

On Tuesday, Sushil Modi wrote on Twitter that Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was lodged in a Ranchi jail, was phoning NDA MLAs on his mobile phone to lure Nitish Kumar into the PM's job. Sushil Modi himself was the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. Lalu Prasad himself picked up the phone when I called on his mobile. I told him you would not succeed in this game. So it is better not to play such a dirty trick.
