The Indian Army today tested the BrahMos missile in a war-like manner. In terms of defense, tests were called live missile testing. BrahMos missiles were fired from several places simultaneously. Live missile testing creates a war-like atmosphere, as missiles are launched from different locations simultaneously during war.

At around 10 a.m., more than one BrahMos was fired simultaneously at the Andaman-Nicobar group's military base. The missiles hit its target at about three times the speed of sound.

The BrahMos range used by India at present is about 300 km. It is planned to increase it to 400, 800 and 1500 kilometers. The BrahMos is the world's fastest cruise missile.

The Indian Navy uses US-made anti-submarine and P-8I aircraft for naval operations. India has eight aircraft, while the ninth aircraft was now found. These aircraft are very useful for air surveillance over a large area. While flying at sea, its modern instruments detect underwater submarines. India has also assigned surveillance operations to these aircraft at the Ladakh border.

China is also preparing for long-term cross-border preparations. According to a report in the Chinese newspaper The Global Times, the Western Theater Command of the Chinese Army, which controls the Indian border, is to receive more fighter jets. The Chinese military is preparing to deploy Chinese aircraft J-16, imitating Russia's Sukhoi-27, on the Indian border.

India is likely to get more 3P-8I aircraft from the US by early 2021. The plane landed at the Goa-based port. India has launched a series of tests on BrahMos. So more tests may be seen in the coming days.
