India bans 43 more mobile apps, including Snack Video, see full list

The Indian government has banned a further 43 mobile apps, blocking access to users' data in India under Section 69-A of the IT Act. Earlier in June and July, India also banned 118 mobile apps, including Pubji.

The 43 apps that the government has banned so far include many popular apps like Snack Video, Snack Video quickly emerged as its alternative on Tiktok, also Chinese apps, these 43 mobile apps have been prosecuted for The government received inputs that it was involved in biased activities towards India's sovereignty, integrity, security and public order.
