New Delhi 19th November 2020 Thursday

The corona took on a monstrous form in the country's capital, New Delhi. In the last 24 hours, 7,468 new cases were reported and 131 people died due to severe pollution on the one hand and people not taking adequate precautionary measures on Diwali on the other.

This is the first time in the last six months that such a large number of people have died in a single day. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called an emergency meeting of leaders of all political parties and discussed what could be done immediately to curb Corona. It may be recalled that on the eve of Diwali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a nationwide speech made a public appeal not to forget precautionary measures like masks and social distance during Diwali celebrations.

But in the celebration of Diwali like the king of the festival, people forgot this warning. As a result Corona became ferocious.

With this, the number of corona cases in Delhi had gone up to more than five lakh.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia claimed that the number of corona wards and beds in Delhi's hospitals had been increased. If we talk about the whole country, so far the number of Corona cases has reached around 90 lakh.
