COVID-19: Penalty of Rs 2,000 for not wearing mask in Delhi, decision to avoid non-emergency operations

As it is important to wear masks to control the rampant corona virus in Delhi and protect people from the epidemic, the Kejriwal government in Delhi has decided to impose a fine of Rs 2,000 instead of Rs 500 on those who do not wear masks. .

He further said that many people in Delhi today do not wear masks, but now they have to be a little stricter, they have to pay a fine of Rs 2,000 instead of Rs 500. The Chief Minister also appealed to all social and religious and political parties to take their activists to the streets and make people aware if masked people go out and distribute masks to all.

He also urged to avoid non-emergency operations in government hospitals so that Covid-19 patients could be treated better. Reserved for patients, 1413 ICU beds have been added in Delhi so far.
