Case against 223 Gurjar agitators in Rajasthan, Diwali celebrations on railway tracks: Kirodi Singh Bainsla

New Delhi, 10 November 2020 Tuesday

The state government has now taken a tough stance after discussions with Gurjar agitators in Rajasthan, and there is no consensus in the ongoing talks between agitating leader Colonel Kirodi Singh Bainsla and Rajasthan state level sports minister Ashok Chandna, so now the state government has registered cases against 223 agitators.

Gurjar leader Colonel Kirodi Singh Bainsla has said that if the demands are not met, Diwali will be celebrated on the railway tracks. Ashok Chandna, who returned to Jaipur after the talks failed, said that the Rajasthan government has accepted all the demands that could have been met. Making unreasonable demands, which is not possible to accept.

It may be mentioned here that Gurjar leaders have announced a sit-in in Rajasthan from Monday, where Rajasthan government minister Ashok Chand arrived in Hindaun for a discussion, where discussions between the two parties lasted for an hour and a half but no agreement was reached, after Col. Kirodi Singh Bainsla's son Vijay Bainsla got annoyed and sat on the floor, fearing that the movement would intensify after the talks broke down.

It may be mentioned here that the internet has been shut down for 10 days in 5 districts due to the agitation already, and more than 30 trains are being affected every day. The closure of State Roadways buses has caused a lot of inconvenience to commuters on Diwali.
