Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan's heart operation, son Chirag talks on social media

Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party leader Ram Vilas Paswan has undergone heart surgery. His son Chirag Paswan was informed about this on Sunday. Ram Vilas Paswan has been active in politics for more than five decades and is one of the country's leading Dalit leaders. He has been hospitalized for the past few weeks.

Chirag Paswan tweeted that his father has been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the last few days. His heart had to be operated on late at night due to sudden emergencies last evening. As a result, Chirag Paswan had to cancel a party meeting so that he could stay with his father.

He said one more operation would probably be needed in a few weeks if needed. Thank you all for standing with me and my family in this hour of crisis.

Politics has been heating up in Bihar since the announcement of the assembly election date. The Lok Janshakti Party's parliamentary board may meet today. The meeting was scheduled to take place on Saturday evening but Chirag and his mother had to go to the hospital due to Ram Vilas Paswan's ill health which prevented the meeting from taking place. It is being said that the party at the meeting is likely to make a big decision.
