Three thousand Azerbaijani soldiers killed in the ongoing war against Armenia

Armenia and Azerbaijan are fighting for a disputed territory. It is said that three thousand Azerbaijani soldiers were killed. Armenia claimed to have shot down three Azerbaijani planes. However, Azerbaijan did not provide any official information.

Armenia and Azerbaijan are fighting for an area called Nagorna-Karabakh. Leaders of many countries mediated to bring peace between the two countries. Even now, efforts are being made to bring peace through mediation.

The president of Azerbaijan slammed those efforts. The President of Azerbaijan said that the leaders of the major countries made big peace talks, but made no concrete efforts in that direction over the years. Intelligence reports claim that 3,000 Azerbaijani soldiers have been killed in fighting between the two countries.

Official figures have not been released, but 19 civilians are said to have been killed. A total of 55,000 people have been injured so far. Nagorno-Karabakh officials said 150 people had been killed. Armenia's Defense Ministry claimed that its army had shot down three Azerbaijani planes on the border. Azerbaijan declined to comment.

Nagorno-Karabakh is internationally part of Azerbaijan, but since 2018 the conflict has resumed. Azerbaijan claims to have occupied the 4400 square kilometers of Armenia's ethnic base. Armenia is said to be occupying the area by infiltrating defiant people. The people of Nagorna and Karabakh say the area is independent of both countries. This has deepened the controversy.
