New delhi date. 24. Saturday 2020 October

The central government is preparing a third relief package to boost the recession-hit economy.

As per the information received, the package will be up to Rs 50,000 crore. The emphasis will be on job creation and infrastructure projects. At the same time, the government may provide tax exemptions and cash incentives to companies in the automobile, electronics and tourism sectors to generate employment, as the government says it is currently focusing on job creation and market demand.

The government had earlier announced plans worth Rs 20 lakh crore in the economic package. A second package of Rs 45,000 crore was also announced after that. However, the sluggish economy has not seen any significant recovery from these two packages. It is emphasizing on increasing employment but only after the announcement of the package will it be known how much employment is likely to increase.

The government will also focus on 20 to 25 infrastructure projects. As part of this package, huge investments may be announced. If the infrastructure projects are implemented, it will also increase employment. For this, the government is emphasizing on infrastructure.

The industry believes that consumer base companies also need to be encouraged, which can create jobs on a large scale.
