If the girl dies during the surgery, the doctor commits suicide

A doctor has committed suicide following comments on social media following the death of a child during surgery.

Anoop Krishna, a 35-year-old orthopedic surgeon and doctor who runs a hospital in Kollam, Kerala, wrote an apology on the bathroom wall before committing suicide. Now the police have started investigating the case.

That being said, a few days ago they were performing surgery on a seven-year-old girl. He was killed in the process. The team of doctors said that the girl had a heart attack during the operation and died. The girl's family has also filed a case of negligence against the doctor.

However, police say it would be hasty to link the doctor's suicide with the surgery at this stage. An investigation is underway into whether the doctor was receiving threats.

Anoop Krishna was upset over the catastrophic post against the doctor on social media while the police were waiting for the post-mortem report to probe the allegation of negligence against the doctor. This has led to speculation that he may have committed suicide.
