Chandrakant Kavalekar clarified that my phone was hacked while I was asleep. Someone used my phone to share a link to a pornographic video in the group I was in.
Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Kavalekar had lodged a complaint of phone hacking with the Goa Cybercrime Police Department. "Someone conspired to tarnish my image," Kavalekar said. This act was done with the malicious intention of risking my political career.
The issue was a hot topic in Goa. The women's wing of the Goa Forward Party had demanded an impartial inquiry into the issue against Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Kavalekar.
