Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti had claimed that China had usurped 1,000 square kilometers of our jetty land after the Union government repealed Article 370, which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
"As far as I know, we were able to reclaim barely 40 square kilometers of land," Mehbooba said, insulting the Indian Army.
Earlier, he had claimed that he would not contest the election until Article 370 was restored. He also refused to wave the tricolor. However, Jammu and Kashmir Congress leaders termed Mehbooba a traitor and urged the governor to re-arrest her.
"I have no interest in contesting the elections until I get back the constitution under which I was contesting," Mehbooba said.
