Atrocities against Hindus escalated in Pakistan's Sindh province, fundamentalists demolished the Ram temple

The atrocities of Muslim fundamentalists against Hindus are on the rise in Pakistan. Earlier, a government-backed Hindu temple in Islamabad was opposed, but now a Hindu temple has been demolished in Sindh province. Police have taken action on the issue of demolition of the temple on the basis of a complaint lodged by complainant Ashok Kumar.

A Hindu temple in Badin district of Sindh province was demolished by fundamentalist Mohammad Ismail, police said in a complaint filed by Ashok Kumar. However, the police claimed that they have immediately arrested a man named Ismail and further interrogation is underway.

According to the plaintiff, by breaking into his temple, Ismail had smashed the idols and committed acts that offended the religious spirit. SP Shabir Sethar of the area where the incident was reported by the local media has demanded an investigation report of the entire case within 24 hours.

Hindus are currently the largest minority community in Pakistan and are frequently persecuted. According to a report, there are about 75 lakh Hindus in Pakistan. Most of them live in Sindh province. While a large number of people associated with Christianity and Sikhism also live here. The fundamentalists tried to bring peace to the province.

There were 428 temples in Pak, only 20 survived: report

The demolition of a Hindu temple in Pakistan's Sindh province has come to light. Following which, the Pakistani police have started running and claiming that they are taking action against the culprits. On the other hand, the number of attacks on several temples in Pakistan has come down in the past. A human rights activist claims that out of 428 Hindu temples in Pakistan, only 20 have survived.

The figures were released by Anil Gulzar, a human rights activist. He said there were once 428 Hindu temples in Pakistan but they were gradually demolished and now only 20 remain. "I condemn the demolition of Shri Ram's temple in Sindh province," Anil Gulzar said in a Facebook post.
