Armenia-Azerbaijan war ends


- Five thousand people lost their lives in one month

-A ceasefire announced from midnight today

The last 29 days of war between Armenia and Azerbaijan have come to an end. The announcement of a ceasefire from midnight on October 26 was shared by both parties. The war ended with American mediation. It was done by US President Donald Trump himself and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

If you look at the world map, these two countries are very small. But tensions between the two led to the war over Azerbaijan's illegal occupation of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Armenia. Five thousand people have lost their lives in the last one month due to this war.

According to US President Donald Trump, "Congratulations to both the Prime Minister of Armenia Nicolas Pashinan and the President of Azerbaijan Ilbam Aliyev. Hundreds of innocent lives will be saved by the end of this war. Earlier, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke in detail with the foreign ministers of the two countries.

Armenia has accused the Azar army of bombing civilian areas. So Azerbaijan alleged that our areas were attacked by mortars, tanks and howitzers.
