With Corona’s caution 90 percent of the candidates gave NEETs

The Medical Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted across the country amid strict adherence to the Corona Epidemic Prevention Rules and about 90 per cent of the candidates appeared for the exam.

Candidates who could not appear for the exam due to Corona have been announced to retake the exam earlier. The schedule of this examination will be announced later. A total of 15.97 lakh candidates had registered for the NEET examination.

Which had been postponed twice before following the Corona epidemic. An estimated 85 to 90 per cent candidates sat for the exam, the National Testing Agency said, based on random sampling. Of course, no official figures have been released. Notably, in the year 2019, 92.9 per cent candidates sat for the examination.

From the current year, admission to 13 All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry MBBS course will also be given under the 'NEET' examination. The exam started at 2:00 p.m.

Students were admitted to the centers as early as 11:00 am to maintain social distance. Many states provided free transportation and accommodation in view of the NEET examination. In West Bengal, a special metro train was run for the candidates.
