The Special Frontier Force, which is dusting off China in the southern part of Ladakh's Pangong Lake, is under discussion overnight.

Before this many people in India had not even heard the name of this security force. However, after the way India has occupied the hills south of Pangong Lake, people's curiosity about the Special Frontier Force has increased.

The force is also known as the Development Regiment. Interestingly, the Special Frontier Force operates not under the Army but under the hands of Rona, India's spy agency. The Special Frontier Force was formed. The Special Frontier Forces were seen in action during the 1971 war, Operation Blue Star in 1984 and the Kargil War in 1999.

It was the idea of ​​the then PM Jawaharlal Nehru to involve the Tibetan refugees in the force by imparting military training. Initially, it had 5,000 personnel.
