Taipei, Ta. Thursday 24 September 2020

In the northwestern part of Taiwan, a small country in East Asia, Taoyun is known as the Peach Orchard. In Taiwan, which is keeping pace with the pace of development, agriculture and nature are given special priority. A special 'Land Art Festival' is organized every year in the open and large farms here. Local artists create a wide variety of artefacts using tree trunks as well as bamboo items, and then a large number of people flock to see them.

A special type of cave has been prepared by collecting tree branches as well as other items. The door is designed in such a way that it connects one generation with another.

Of all the artifacts, the most striking is The Ripple Men at Gaoshung, set in the middle of a paddy field. In addition to bamboo, some steel and some wires have been used to make these mens.

An artwork called 'Swing Under the Bamboo' is an attempt to bring down the clouds flowing in space. Rain and clouds are an integral part of a farmer's life and an attempt has been made to introduce the closeness of nature.

The community hall has been designed by a civil engineer specially invited from Myanmar to participate in the Land Festival. The base of this unique hole made of bamboo uses concrete and steel and wire are also woven to increase its strength.

Ecological engineers have made very effective use of tree trunks and paved it as a 'walking path'. Metal has also been used to attach it in some places.

Palm tree strings are made by assembling aluminum wires and other materials. The palm tree is like a pool connecting the western countries and the east. Due to which, a team of artists worked hard to prepare Palm Avenue.
