Saudi Arabia blocks flights from India

Saudi Arabia has banned all flights to and from India in view of the growing threat of corona. Passengers from India as well as Brazil and Argentina have been banned from traveling.

An order issued by Saudi Arabia's civil aviation department said all flights to and from India, Brazil and Argentina have been temporarily suspended due to the growing threat of corona.

This includes individuals who have visited any of the above countries 14 days before arriving in Saudi Arabia. However passengers who have an official invitation from the government. They will be exempted from this ban.

According to Johns Hopkins University, there are 3,30,798 cases of corona in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia and the UAE are home to a large number of traveling Indians. This decision of the Saudi Arabian government could create a big problem for Indians.
