Registered workers will get 50 percent unemployment benefit

Employees who lose their jobs under the Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana will get financial help from the government. This is a kind of unemployment allowance. The benefit accrues to employees who are covered under the ESI scheme or whose ESI is deducted from their monthly salary.

According to government rules, industrial workers who have lost their jobs in Corona will be given 50 per cent salary and employment benefit for 3 months. People will get the benefit of this. Their jobs are going between March 24 and December 31. The first scheme was extended till December 31, 2020.

However, it is now possible to take advantage of it by June 2021. Unemployed on or before March 23, 2020 or January 1, 2021. Such insured persons will in fact be subject to the terms of eligibility for the Atal Insured Personal Welfare Scheme.
