Raphael's first female pilot became Shivangi of Varanasi parliamentary constituency

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency of Varanasi achieved another milestone. Shivangi Singh of Varanasi, the first woman pilot, has joined Raphael's squadron Golden Arrow. Neighbor's children and people gathered at Shivangi's house in Phulwaria, Varanasi and celebrated with the family.

On Shivangi's success, mother Seema Singh said that her daughter has fulfilled her dream. "We are proud that our daughter will brighten the name of the country," said Kumareshwar Singh, Shivangi's father.


At BHU itself it was part of the 7 UP Air Squadron in the National Cadet Corps. She was an NCC cadet from BHU from 2013 to 2015. Simultaneously Sunbeam did BSc from Bhagwanpur. Shivangi has already represented Uttar Pradesh in the Republic Day Parade in Delhi in 2013.

Shivangi's posting is currently in Rajasthan. Regarding Shivangi's childhood, the mother said that she was gifted in teaching from the beginning. After primary education, she went to Banaras Hindu University for higher studies. After qualifying for a month of training, he is now part of the Raphael team.
