Passengers should not be disturbed even if video-photo is allowed in flight: DGCA

New delhi date. Sunday, September 13, 2020

The DGCA issued a statement asking Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut to suspend the flight if it happened again as it was crowded for videography and photography. However, it is now said that the passenger will be able to do videography photography by following the rules.

A statement issued by the DGCA said that the passenger will be able to take photographs and videos on the flight but will not be able to use the recording equipment which will create an atmosphere of chaos in the flight and cause inconvenience to other passengers.

Two days ago, the DGCA directed the airlines to take appropriate action against Kangana's claim that the flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai had not complied with the rules and asked all flights to comply with the rules.

Now on Sunday the DGCA said that we did not ask the passenger to do photography or videography on the flight, we meant that the passenger would be allowed to take photographs or videos but not to use such equipment while recording so as not to cause trouble to other passengers.
