'Letter bomb' explodes again in Congress

New Delhi, 6 September 2020, Sunday

The internal turmoil in the Congress is still there. After one more letter bomb exploded in the party, the political front is heating up.

Nine former UP Congress leaders who were expelled from the party last year have written a letter to Sonia Gandhi in which she said that Sonia Gandhi should stop the party from becoming history and work for the party by giving up family ties.

The nine former Congress leaders have indirectly targeted Congress in-charge and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi in UP. The leaders have written that the party needs to rise above family ties and establish democratic traditions. We have been asking for a visit for a year to meet you but every time we are denied. We also appealed against the decision to expel from the party. Didn't have time to think.

The leaders wrote in the letter that the party is dominated by leaders who are working on a salary basis and are not even primary members of the party. These leaders do not even know the party's ideology. However, they have been entrusted with party responsibilities in UP. Evaluates the performance of other standing leaders. Senior leaders are being targeted and humiliated. We got information through media when we were sacked. Youth Congress in UP is inactive. Congress High Command needs to increase dialogue with leaders.
