The Excise Department resorted to small hand pumps to extract the supply of liquor hidden in the ground. He was accompanied by a police team for fear of attacking customs officials who were making illegal liquor. Police arrested six people.

In addition to this liquor, excise duty was levied on raw materials worth Rs. A police spokesperson said that hundreds of liters of domestic liquor were hidden inside the ground.
