A number of militant outfits have been weakened in Kashmir due to the military offensive in recent times. In the midst of this situation, there are reports that some militants along with Sruthanikos are preparing to recapture Lashkar-e-Toiba in Kashmir.

Several people involved in the plot have been arrested. Among those arrested was a government teacher. According to police, the militants along with Sruthanik Shikshak had hatched a whole plan to re-establish the Lashkar-e-Toiba network in Kashmir's Reasi district and at the same time terrorist activities have been launched.

A total of three people, including a teacher, have been arrested by the police and are being questioned. The three men were in touch with Pakistan and at the same time the army stationed in Pakistan was working on the orders of Toiba's mentors. The three were also planning to open camps in these areas to brainwash the Sruthanik youths and terrorize them.

When the police came to know about this, a joint investigation with the army found three persons with evidence of the conspiracy. Police had registered a case on August 5 and launched an investigation and uncovered the conspiracy within a month.

According to police, Lashkar-e-Toiba's terrorist named Mohammad Qasim is the mastermind of the conspiracy. And it was he who contacted the Sruthanikas and devised a plan to re-establish Toiba in Kashmir. The three arrested are Ghulam Hussain, Abdul Aziz, Ashraf Ahmed and all three are Sruthanik residents.

Some anonymous transactions were made by these persons in the banks which have also been detected. On the other hand, a grenade attack took place in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir in which six civilians were injured. According to the army, the militants targeted a convoy of security personnel and hurled a grenade at Azagunj in Baramulla.

The army convoy was heading towards Srinagar. Although the attackers survived, about six civilians were seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment. An investigation has been launched by cordoning off the entire area as the attackers fled.
