Global Times editor threatens, only one end to Pangong Lake controversy, India loses again

Beijing, Ta. 01 September 2020 Tuesday

After the eastern Ladakh in June, on the night of August 29-30, Chinese troops once again tried to infiltrate the Indian border. This time the Indian army chased away the Chinese troops trying to infiltrate the southern shore of Pangong Lake.

Upset by this, China demanded from India to reduce its troops from the border. The Chinese propaganda newspaper Global Times has said in its editorial that India is not in conflict with China and has directly claimed that the Pangong controversy will end in India's defeat by tweeting the newspaper's editor Hu Shiji.

Then India will be defeated

I have tweeted that the Indian Army has again stunted on the border. He always thinks that China will compromise on provoking thinking about all situations. The situation cannot be further misunderstood. If there is a dispute in Pangong Lake, it will only end in a new defeat of the Indian Army.

After which he further tweeted, China has real control over the southern shore of Pangong Lake. In 1962, the Chinese army defeated the Indian army here. This time the Indian Army is trying to spoil the status quo. I hope India will not make the same mistake again.

Accused of aggression on India

The newspaper editorial also alleged that the Indian army crossed the LAC near Pangong Lake and Rekin. It also said that after the violence in Galvan in June, India reacted a bit more by imposing economic sanctions on China and strengthening ties with the United States.

The US also sided with India which gave India more impetus. The newspaper has accused India of resorting to aggression instead of regional stability.
