Former JNU student leader Umar Khalid was arrested late last night

The Delhi Police Special Cell has made one more arrest in the Delhi violence case. The Special Cell has arrested Umar Khalid, a former student leader of Jawaharlal Nehru University, late last night on charges of alleged role in the riots.

This has been arrested. The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Khalid after an 11-hour interrogation. He will be presented in court today. Umar Khalid was summoned.

The United Against Hate Group has issued a statement following the arrest of Umar Khalid. He said that after 11 hours of interrogation, the Delhi Police Special Cell had arrested Umar Khalid as a conspirator in the Delhi violence case.
