Cases of corona virus are now increasing day by day across the country and more than 90 thousand new cases are coming up every day. According to the statistics received, more than 95 thousand cases have come up in 24 hours. In daily cases, the figure has crossed 95,000 for the sixth day in a row. The total number of cases has crossed 48.36 lakh. Corona cases in India are likely to cross 50 lakh in just two to three days.

At the same time, 1153 more people have died in 24 hours and the total death toll has reached 79644. Which is likely to cross 80 thousand in the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, more than 74,460 people have been cured in just 24 hours. The total recovery has crossed 37.63 lakh.

If we look at the states, the total number of corona cases in Maharashtra has now crossed 10.60 lakh and more than 29,000 people have died and more than seven lakh have been cured. In Andhra Pradesh too, the total number of corona cases has now crossed 5.67 lakh, which is the second highest number of cases in the country.

In Karnataka, the figure has reached 4.59 lakh. The government, on the other hand, had earlier claimed that an important drug to fight the Corona epidemic could be discovered this year. However, now the Union Health Minister says that Corona medicine will be available next year. Dr. Harsh Vardhan has said that the anti-corona drug will be available in the early months of next year.

Although no date has been set for the launch of Corona, the drug could be launched in the first quarter of 2021 and those in need will be given priority. At present, the number of people who have recovered from fighting Corona in India has crossed 37 lakh. According to government figures, 58 per cent of the 37 lakh people are from only five states. While 60 per cent of the active cases are in five states.

At the same time, the national recovery rate has reached 77.88 per cent. Of the recovered cases, 58 per cent are from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. Corona, meanwhile, has begun to reach out to leaders as well. Buddhadan Chakmano Korona, the only BJP MLA in Mizoram, has tested positive and is being treated.
