-Manoj Tiwari also seems to be annoyed

New Delhi, Tuesday, September 1, 2020

Dissatisfaction was reported among BJP MPs in the national capital, New Delhi. Most of the MPs were able to get the district president of their choice but some MPs did not get it.

Delhi (East) BJP president Manoj Tiwari and Ramesh Bighudi were not happy with the president-elect in their district. The capital, New Delhi, has seven parliamentary seats. Two district chairpersons are appointed for each. In addition to assisting in the election of the district president, he also handles the task of strengthening the party. A BJP spokesperson said that disgruntled BJP members had gathered outside the BJP office in Delhi to protest against the appointment of the South Delhi president. Some of them even threatened to resign from the party. Some just demanded a change of office.

Delhi BJP president Aadesh Gupta claimed that most of the workers and leaders were happy with the new incumbents. We will deal with some objections in a democratic manner. There was no cause for concern.

In Delhi, the alternatives of BJP MPs Dr Harshvardhan, Meenakshi Lekhi, Hans Raj Hans, Gautam Gambhir and Pravesh Sahib Singh were explored. These people didn't mind. One and a half new district presidents were elected with 80 new faces. The appointment was made as part of an internal restructuring of the party.

Delhi BJP chief Aadesh Gupta's claim was that the media was chewing on small things. There is nothing like dissatisfaction in the party.
