As cohort testing is on the rise across the country, so are cases of the corona virus. More than 65 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours alone and 817 people have died while 64442 people have been cured during the same period. At the same time, the total number of cases has also crossed 36.77 lakh.

While the total number of cases reached 3677442, 2829982 people have also been cured. While the death toll has crossed 65353. Only three states - Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka - accounted for 43 per cent of the country's total cases. So the situation in these three states is now becoming more dire than in other states. Seven states, including these three, account for 70 per cent of the country's total cases. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka alone accounted for 50 per cent of the total deaths. Maharashtra alone has a death toll of 30.48 per cent.

At the same time, the central government is deploying its team in the states where the situation is getting worse. According to the government, the Center will send teams to three states - Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Odisha - to curb the Koro epidemic. Corona, on the other hand, has completed the first phase of its ongoing drug trial and is now preparing for the second phase. Preparations for the second phase of Corona's drug trial have now begun at a hospital in Bhubaneswar.

The trial will be conducted at the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar. "After the completion of the first phase of the drug trial, we have now started preparations for the second phase," said Venkat Rao. Lockdown is now being implemented instead of unlock as corona cases are on the rise in some states.

A complete lockdown has been declared in West Bengal on September 7, 11 and 12. So these three days the state will stop and at the same time the rate of testing by the government will also be increased. On the other hand, another Uttar Pradesh minister, Mohsin Raza Korona, has tested positive and is being treated.
