BMC's eye on illegal construction in the house after Kangana's office

(PTI) New Delhi, Ta. Sunday, September 13, 2020

The ongoing war of words between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and the Maharashtra government has now become an all-out battle. The BMC had earlier vandalized Kangana's office just before she reached Mumbai on Wednesday and now she is looking at Kangana's house.

The BMC has demanded that the case be expedited in the civil court on the issue of illegal construction at Kangana's house. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, annoyed by the BMC's vandalism at his office, met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Sunday and complained to the Uddhav government and hoped he would get justice.

Kangana Ranaut, who has been aggressive from the outset in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, has been coming to Mumbai on September 9 after comparing Mumbai with POK in a 'Twitter war' with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and warned that if anyone has the courage to stop him, Rocky will show up. Just before Kang's arrival in Mumbai on Wednesday, the Greater Mumbai Corporation (BMC) demolished his office, claiming that illegal construction was taking place.

Now the BMC says the illegal construction at Kangana's house and the violation of BMC rules are even more serious than the illegal construction of her office. However, a case of illegal construction at Kangana's house is currently pending in the court, which is scheduled to hear the case on September 25.

Kangna Ranaut lives on the fifth floor of a building in Khar West, Mumbai. The three flats were registered in the name of Kangana on March 8, 2013. Five years later, on March 13, 2018, BMC received a complaint of illegal construction in these flats. Kangana was also given notice in this regard. After an initial reply, Kangana knocked on the door of the civil court on May 22, 2018.

The case is currently in court. However, after a dispute with the Shiv Sena, the BMC has requested the court to hold an immediate hearing in the case. The next hearing in the case is set for September 25. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, annoyed by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation's vandalism at his office, visited Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. The visit lasted about 20 minutes.

"I have met the governor and given him details of the injustice done to me," Kangana said of the visit. The governor listened to me like a daughter. And comforted me. I hope I get justice. He added that he had been treated rudely. I should get justice.

Don't understand my weakness, my silence: Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai, Ta. 13

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray broke his silence on Sunday between the Shiv Sena and the Maharashtra government over Kangna Ranaut, but he did not mention the names of Kangna Ranaut and Sushant Singh Rajput. However, he said his silence should not be perceived as a weakness. Now that his focus is on Corona, he will speak on the issue at the appropriate time. He claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched to discredit Maharashtra. While Maharashtra has the highest number of corona cases and the highest number of deaths, the Chief Minister said that his government was working effectively to combat the corona epidemic. He added that some people think Corona is gone and he should start politics again. However, I will not talk about politics at the moment. My silence does not mean that I have no answer. I will reply in due course.
