The number of coronavirus cases in the country is steadily increasing. In these circumstances, a trial of a rapid test kit developed by a team of Israeli scientists to determine the transmission of the virus in just 30 seconds has been started at Delhi's Doctor Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital. Scientists are evaluating four techniques in RML to detect the transition of Covid-19 in 30 seconds.

About 10,000 people will be tested twice. First with the gold standard molecular RTPCR and then with four Israeli techniques so that these techniques can be evaluated. Unlike the method of collecting swab samples, for this test the person has to tweak or speak into a tracheal-like device that will collect the sample for testing.

According to the researchers, if this technique is successful, it will result in a corona in just 30 seconds. Also these technologies will find safe ways for businesses and people will be able to live with the virus easily until a vaccine is developed.

"The diagnosis is being tested by a collaboration between the Israel Defense Research and Development Organization, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)," said Vijay Raghavan, chief scientific adviser to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The first technique, called terahertz spectroscopy, attempts to identify the virus. It is tested by taking a sample on a chip. It does not involve any chemistry or reagents that occur in the current standard testing. The results are available in less than a minute. '

"The final product can be a combination of two or more technologies," said Ron Malka, Israel's ambassador to India. Later we will see which four techniques would be better to identify people suffering from Kovid-19. It can also be a combination of two of these techniques. Hope to see a clinical trial later. ' According to the ambassador, India's manufacturing capacity is naturally fit for these tests.
