The monsoon session is set to begin two days after the 20-member Corona positive of the UP Assembly

In Uttar Pradesh, Corona tested positive for 20 Assembly tests just before the start of the monsoon session. The assembly and about 600 other employees were tested before the session began. Security guards are also included in the legislature staff that Corona tested positive for.

The monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly is starting from August 20. Before the monsoon session, all the MLAs and all the staff of the Legislative Assembly were asked to undergo corona test. The monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly will be for three days.

Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit said he had met all the party leaders to take necessary precautions to avoid Koro's transition. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly will inspect the security arrangements of the Legislative Assembly today. This will be followed by a meeting with the leaders of all the forces on August 19. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present. He has already met with the leaders of all the forces following the necessary precautions to avoid Speaker Corona.

The plan will be social distance

According to the Speaker, one seat will be spaced between the seats of MLAs in the House to comply with the rules of social distance. The lobby area and viewer gallery will also be used. The rules require that a session be convened within 6 months. So a three-day session has been called.

The assembly speaker said sanitation and thermal screening would also be arranged during the session. Hriday Narayan Dixit said that all political forces have spoken of helping during the session.

Preparations for the session of Parliament

Preparations are also underway to convene a monsoon session of Parliament amid the Koro crisis. There are also plans to use a spectator gallery and chamber to seat MPs in Parliament. The staff is engaged in preparations for the Parliament session. Vice President M Vekanya Naidu had directed the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to complete the preparations by the third week of August.

Arrangements are being made for the seating of MPs keeping in view the social distance in line with the Corona-Protocol. Arrangements are also being made for members of the upper house to sit in both the chamber and the spectator gallery during the parliamentary session. 60 in the chamber, 51 in the gallery and 132 Rajya Sabha members will be seated in the Lok Sabha chamber. The same is true for Lok Sabha members.
