The management and operation of 6 more airports in the country has been handed over to a private player. At the same time, the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) has been empowered to conduct CET (Common Eligibility cum Entrance Test) for the subordinate posts.

Prakash Javadekar said there are about 20 recruitment agencies in the country. The government has taken a historic decision to end all this. The National Recruitment Agency will now take the Common Eligibility Test. This will benefit millions of young people. Who apply for the job.

Prakash Javadekar said that this demand of the youth was there for years but so far no decision has been taken about this. This one decision will also take away the trouble of the youth and also save their money. Youngsters will now have the opportunity to proceed with a single exam.

Announcing another decision taken at the meeting, Prakash Javadekar said the cabinet has also taken a decision for one crore sugarcane farmers. The government has increased the beneficial value. So far, the price has been fixed at Rs 285 per quintal. This is based on a 10 percent recovery. If there is an 11 per cent recovery, you will get Rs 28 50 more per quintal. This will benefit one crore farmers.

Decisions were also taken regarding the airport

Prakash Javadekar said that it has been decided to provide Rs 1,070 crore for airports. The rupee will be used by the Airport Authority of India to develop airports in smaller cities. This will provide better convenience to the passengers. He said the Airport Authority of India would not hand over the airport entirely to a private company. After 50 years, the airport will be returned to the Airport Authority of India.
