The Indian Army smashed the launching pad in POK

Muzaffarabad (POK) Ta. 8 August 2020 Saturday

The Indian Army destroyed some launching pads by striking the POK early this morning in the wake of daily shelling on the border by Pakistan without any prior provocation. Pakistani media released photographs of the incident and claimed that one woman was killed and four others were injured in the attack by the Indian Army. Some buildings also collapsed.

Pakistani media claimed that there had never been such a shelling by the Indian Army before. The Indian Army launched an attack with mortars and medium range artillery at around 4 am on Saturday. It may be recalled here that Pakistan had violated the ceasefire in the Naugam and Tangdhar sectors 24 hours ago without any prior provocation. This injured many people in Kupwada.

This year, Pakistan has been consistently violating the ceasefire. But so far the Indian Army has exercised restraint. The Indian Army retaliated on Saturday morning. Some of Pakistan's launching pads were demolished. Just a few days ago, the Indian Army's intelligence department received information that more than 300 militants had been spotted. The militants were trying to infiltrate Uri, Kupwara, Bandipora, Guraij and Samba and Rajouri-Poonch areas of Jammu and Kashmir Valley. That is why the troops were sabotaged. For the last few days, but every month of this year, Pakistan has been continuously violating the ceasefire and shelling the border.

The Indian Army finally destroyed the launching pads in POK in a scathing response early this morning.
