The government has now approved for export after the demand for ventilators in the country declined

The government has finally lifted the ban on the export of ventilators in response to a demand from the Association of Indian Medical Device Industry.

The association had written a letter to the health ministry seeking exemption for ventilator exports from August. The government has since accepted the demand. In these circumstances, the need for ventilators is declining. As of July 31, only 0.22 per cent of coro patients were on ventilators, so the government has approved its export.

Currently, the production of ventilators in the country is in full swing and the demand in the country is declining. Not so many orders are being placed from the Center and the states. Thus the manufacturers are also running out of stock. More than 20

This decision of the government will bring relief to the manufacturers as the purchase of ventilators has been stopped in the country for two months.
