Koro indirectly struck the family of Punjab Akali Dal leader and former chief minister Prakash Singh Badal. A total of 19 police personnel assigned to protect the family were reported to be positive. At the same time, Prakash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal isolated themselves.

Prakash Singh Badal's bungalow in Bathinda was converted into a micro containment zone. Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal moved to Chandigarh with their families where they accepted voluntary isolation. Dr. Manju, medical superintendent of the Civil Hospital in Prakash Singh Badal's village, confirmed the news that the Badal family's house had been turned into a micro-containment zone. Now no one can go inside from outside and no one can come out from inside.

According to Dr Manju, tests were conducted on Prakash Singh Badal's house last week after a man working as a cook and a police sub-inspector received a positive report from Corona. Meanwhile, 19 policemen tested positive. Now samples of Badal family members will be taken, Dr Manju added.
