Beijing 7 August 2020 Friday

China has consistently pursued its territorial policy of occupying the lands of its neighbors around Ladakh and the South China Sea. Now China's evil eye was on the areas towards the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan and China claimed these areas as its own. This little neighbor of his started threatening China. This poor Central Asian country was horrified by China's grandeur.

In fact, an agreement was reached between China and Tajikistan in 2010. According to the agreement, Tajikistan had to hand over its 1158 km of Pamir area to China.

Now Chinese historian Cho Yao Lu has claimed, citing Chinese government sources, that the entire Pamir region belongs to China, so China should occupy the area from Tajikistan. Tensions in Tajikistan naturally escalated when Cho Yao Luo's article appeared in a Chinese newspaper.

However, Russia also turned its attention to the area after the article was published. Russia considers this Central Asian country as part of its military strategy. Most importantly, there are about 145 gold mines in Tajikistan. That is why water comes in the mouth of China.

Chinese historian Cho Yao Lu said in his related article that China should first regain the territories it lost earlier after its establishment. Some territories have been reclaimed and some are pending. The Pamirs are an area that has been under the control of global superpowers for the last 128 years.

China's melee intentions were recognized by Russia. The government of Tajikistan was in tension over the claim.
