New delhi date. Sunday 30 August 2020

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has taken aim at discussing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's toy in Mann Ki Baat. Rahul Gandhi said that the JEE-NEET candidate wanted the PM to discuss the exam but he started discussing the toy.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted on Sunday, 'JEE-NEET candidate wanted to discuss PM exam but PM discussed toy. Rahul Gandhi took up Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat program at a time when there is opposition to holding the JEE-NEET exam amid the Koro crisis.

Prime Minister Modi said that he would like to apologize to the parents of the children who are listening to Mann Ki Baat as it may be that after listening to this Mann Ki Baat program, listening to the new demand for toys may come up against them. While toys are an activity enhancer, toys also give rise to our aspirations. Toys not only make the mind better, the toy also makes the mind and creates the purpose.

The Prime Minister said that our country has a very rich tradition of local toys. There are some talented and skilled craftsmen who specialize in making good toys. Some areas of India are also developing as toy clusters. The PM said the global toy industry is worth over Rs 7 lakh crore. Such a huge trade of Rs 7 lakh crore but India's share is very small. A nation that has such a legacy, a tradition, their participation in the toy market should be so low.
