Saudi Arabia finds two major treasures amid Corona virus epidemic

Riyadh, 31 August 2020, Monday

Amid an outbreak of the corona virus, Saudi Arabia has a huge treasure trove. Saudi Arabian state oil company Saudi Aramco has discovered two new oil and gas reserves in the north. Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz has given this information through the official press agency.

Gas reserves in the Al-Jawf area are named after the Hadbat al-Hazara gas field and oil reserves in the northern border areas are named after Abrak al-Talul. Prince Abdul Aziz told the news agency SPA that the Al Sarar reservoir in the Hadbat al-Hazara field produces 16 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, along with 1944 barrels of condensates.

About 3,189 barrels of Arab super light crude can be extracted from Abrak al-Tulul every day. At the same time 1.1 million cubic feet of gas can be emitted. Aramco will start testing the quality of oil, gas and condensate found in the gas and oil fields. Prince Abdul Aziz said that wells would be dug to know the area of oil and gas reserves and their exact area. The Prince has thanked Allah for giving prosperity to the country.

Saudi Arabia is the world's largest oil company and the world's leading oil producer. Their largest market is Asia, where 70% of their exports were before the Corona virus epidemic. Saudi Arabia has the second largest oil reserves after Venezuela. Saudi's share of global reserves is 17.2%. However, Saudi Arabia has less gas reserves than oil and 3% of its global gas reserves.

Saudi Arabia is working to build the country's first wind power plant. The new field is located in the wind corridors of Saudi. The Sakaka power plant is being built in the northern part of Saudi Arabia, with revenue of 2 302 billion.

In partnership with Saudi Arabia, they are going to build their own ambitious plan, a smart city called Nyom, which is taxed at 500 500 billion. Which will be near the border of Jordan and Mistry. The city is working on some important energy projects of the future.

Last month, it announced plans to build a เชนા 5 billion green hydrogen plant. The discovery of oil and gas reserves in Ewama is news of relief for Saudi Arabia's power grid. The world's largest oil exporter has begun exploring the possibility of non-conventional gas reserves for its own domestic needs.
