Jaipur Dt. 20th August 2020 Thursday

Sachin Pilot arrived at the Rajasthan Congress office for the first time on Thursday after being ousted as the state president of the Rajasthan Congress and paid tributes to the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was also scheduled to attend the event but his arrival was canceled at the last minute.

The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee had announced that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot would arrive at the Congress office at 10.30 am today and lay a wreath at the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. But Ashok Gehlot did not appear. Instead, Sachin Pilot arrived at the Congress headquarters and paid tributes to Rajiv Gandhi. With the arrival of former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, the police arrangements for the arrival of the Chief Minister were shifted.

After paying homage to Rajiv Gandhi, Sachin Pilot said that even though Rajiv Gandhi had won the parliamentary elections with 400 seats, he had enough respect for the BJP, which had only two seats. It is difficult to meet such a Prime Minister. Today BJP Congress is talking about free India. The BJP needs to remember Rajiv Gandhi's generosity. The credit for the technological revolution that is visible in the country today goes to Rajiv Gandhi.

Meanwhile, Ajay Maken was given the responsibility of balancing the Rajasthan Congress. Only time will tell how successful Maken was.

At present, Rajasthan is ruled by Ashok Gehlot. But now it will also be a wake-up call from Sachin's pilot group. It is understood that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are backing Sachin Pilot. Gehlot understands the fact that he will have to lose his seat in order to stretch further.
