S Jaishankar's reply to Imran Khan We do not act on the hints of others

New Delhi, 30 August 2020 Sunday

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has strongly reacted to the statement of Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan. He has made it clear that India is not working with anyone, but Pakistan is doing it.

In a recent interview, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan said his country's future lay with China.

"It is unfortunate that Western countries are using India for their own interests to stop China," he said. Imran Khan said that this is the reason why China needs Pakistan. He described the geopolitical situation in Pakistan as very important.

Now, in an interview, the Indian foreign minister has said that Pakistan should think of a way to do this. India is a completely different cultural country. Look at our history.

Since we have faced so many difficulties over the past two centuries, we have great respect for our freedom. Some people think that if they did something wrong, we would do it too.

India has its own definite opinion, Jaishankar said that India has its own interests. India has a character of its own. It cannot be shown in a negative way by saying it against anyone.

Significantly, India has been embroiled in a border dispute with China for the past four months. The Galvan Valley incident in mid-June has further fueled the controversy. In such a scenario, this seems to be the most favorable time for Pakistan to increase its closeness with China.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan has consistently made statements in favor of China. Pakistan, which has long acted at the behest of the US, has made China its biggest ally over the past decade.
