Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has spoken of building a grand temple of Lord Rama in his country. He had earlier claimed that the birthplace of Lord Rama was in Nepal. Last month, Oli claimed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama at Ayodhyapuri near Thori in Nepal. He said that the true birth place of Lord Rama is in Nepal. India is considering Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh as the true birthplace of Ram based on false facts through cultural encroachment.

Prime Minister Oli's statement was strongly opposed in India. His statement was also opposed by political forces and the general public in Nepal. Even Oli's party leaders opposed his statement. However, Prime Minister Olli R હતાikknen was adamant on this and now he has directed to prepare for the construction of a grand Ram temple at the site.

According to the Nepali Government News Agency, Prime Minister Oli has called the local people's representatives of Thori and Madi in Kathmandu and directed them to make all necessary preparations to build a grand temple on the birthplace of Lord Shriram. The Prime Minister has asked to change the name of Madi municipality near Thori to Ayodhyapuri. He also asked to acquire the surrounding areas and develop them as Ayodhya, build a magnificent Ram temple at the birthplace of Ram and install a large statue of Rama-Sita, Lakshmana.

According to a report by the National News Agency, Prime Minister Olli R જણાવ્યુંikknen called on Dussehra to start construction of the temple by worshiping the land on the occasion of Ram Navami and to move the work forward so that the idol could be unveiled again on Ram Navami two years later. The Government of Nepal has also assured financial assistance for the construction of the temple. Prime Minister Oli said that Ayodhyapuri as well as the surrounding areas associated with Ramayana would also be developed. He also asked to develop areas like Valmiki Ashram near Madi, Sita's forest during exile, birthplace of Lovekush etc.
