PM Care Fund Transparent, NDRF's money was going to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation: Ravi Shankar Prasad

New delhi date. Tuesday 18 August 2020

The Supreme Court has rejected the demand for transfer of PM Care Fund to NDRF. Welcoming the apex court's decision, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rs 3,100 crore has so far been provided to the Corona fight from the PM Care Fund. Out of which ventilators worth Rs 2,000 crore have been procured.

50 thousand ventilators have been purchased. Which is the biggest purchase since independence. One thousand crore rupees has been allocated to help migrant laborers. Rs 100 crore has been provided for vaccine research. The PM Care Fund is a public trust and its head is the Prime Minister.

People donated voluntarily to the PM Care Fund. The Modi government has not been accused of any corruption in the last six years. Everything is happening with transparency. Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi has tried to weaken the country in the fight against Koro from day one.

Ravi Shankar Prasad said that while the PM was talking about clapping and clapping for doctors, nurses and Kovid fighters, Rahul Gandhi asked why he was playing. If the whole country lit the lamp of hope against Koro at the behest of the PM, then Rahul said why are you lighting it. Rahul has left no stone unturned in weakening Corona's fight.

The apex court today dismissed the petition against PM Kers, saying the NDRF created in November 2019 was enough to resolve the Corona crisis. There is no need to separate new action plans and minimum standards.
