Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is once again in the spotlight. This time he is in the discussion by slapping Azam Khan, the Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to Pakistan News, Qureshi and Azam Khan had an altercation at first and then Qureshi killed Khan. Qureshi wanted to meet the Prime Minister and had a dispute with Azam Khan over this. Annoyed, Qureshi slapped him.

According to Pakistani media, External Affairs Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi wanted to meet PM Imran Khan when Imran's Principal Secretary Azam Khan stopped him just outside the Prime Minister's Office. Azam Khan told Qureshi that the PM was holding the necessary meeting so you meet later but Qureshi insisted on meeting at the same time. The two quarreled for a while and Qureshi slapped the chief secretary in front of everyone.

The incident took place at the Prime Minister's Secretariat, media reports said. Qureshi has also lodged a complaint with Prime Minister Imran Khan. However, Qureshi was summoned by PMO Imran Khan on the occasion of completing two years of his tenure tomorrow. When Qureshi arrived, Azam Khan stopped him from going inside. Khan, referring to the meeting, said the prime minister was busy and had no orders in this regard and would not be allowed inside. Hearing this, Qureshi got angry and slapped Khan.

There is resentment among officials over the incident. It is pertinent to mention that it is because of Qureshi's statement that Pakistan is getting annoyed with Saudi Arabia. Qureshi targeted Saudi Arabia for not intervening in Kashmir. Since then, Saudi Arabia has been annoyed with Pakistan and now it has created a new problem for the government by slapping the official in front of everyone.
