Indira Rasoi Yojana starts from today in Rajasthan, meals will be available at Rs

In Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday launched the 'No Sleeping Hunger' campaign, launching the Indira Rasoi Yojana. By closing Vasundhara Raje's Annapurna cooking scheme, Ashok Gehlot has started Indira cooking scheme of full meal at Rs 8 instead. Today, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, it is being launched with 358 kitchens in 213 urban institutions across the region. The plan will include seating instead of cooking. Each kitchen will be equipped with CCTV cameras and a picture of the eater will also be taken. Chief Minister Gehlot will inaugurate this at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

In cities in Rajasthan, it is being started at places like railway stations, bus stands and hospitals. At Rs 8, mainly dal, bread, vegetables and pickles are being offered. According to the Rajasthan government, the government is donating Rs 12 per plate and Rs 8 will have to be given to the eater, so there will be one plate of Rs 20. According to the government, the target is to feed 1 lakh 34 thousand people every day and 4 crore 87 lakh people throughout the year. This will have online monitoring and coupon information will have to be given on mobile.

Lunch time will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., while dinner time will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Initially, 300 people in each corporation area, 150 people in the town council and municipal area will be provided morning and evening meals.

After Ashok Gehlot came to power, Vasundhara Raje's Annapurna cooking scheme, which offered a full meal for Rs 8 and a full breakfast for Rs 5, was discontinued. There was a lot of anger among the people.
