Floods in 820 villages in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh: 173 villages were displaced

The water released by Nepal has caused floods in 820 villages in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh, while the situation is deteriorating in Bihar. Out of these 820 villages, 173 villages where there is a road to go are also completely submerged so these villages are in a state of disintegration.

Rising water levels in the Sarayu and Rapti rivers have further aggravated the situation. Backward Classes Welfare Minister Anil Rajbare said the situation is worse in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda and Sagari divisions. Water has seeped into all the houses in the two villages of Azamgarh and rescue teams are trying to reach there.

While the entire crop of 12 villages has been destroyed. About 110 shelter homes have been set up where the affected people in the villages will be housed. About 1129 boats have been running. With the help of which food packets are also being delivered to the people.

As many as 92 shelters have been set up to house the animals. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the Sruthanik administration to take all precautionary measures and take strict measures so that no one's life is endangered. About 188 medical teams have been deployed. At the same time, 16 teams of NDRF and SDRF have also started working. Currently, 15 districts in Uttar Pradesh are flooded.
