China's new maneuver, this condition to reduce tensions, India's refusal

New Delhi, 23 August 2020 Sunday

Tensions are currently running high between India and China on the Ladakh border. China is constantly provoking India. However, India is also giving a scathing response to China. Which has made China more uneasy. There have been several rounds of military-level talks and diplomatic talks between the two countries, but the dispute is not over yet. In it, China has placed a condition on India to resolve the dispute peacefully, which India has rejected.

China has said that India will retreat from Finger-4 and will retreat just as much. This means that China will go from Finger-4 to Finger-8 (which is also India's demand) but India will also go behind Finger-1. However, India is patrolling up to Finger-8, which means that in this situation, India can only patrol up to Finger-1 and Finger-2. China's intention is clear that India should be pushed back to its own borders and China should be pushed back into our patrol area. At present, India has rejected China's condition.

According to media reports, China is asking India to return to its borders. Sources said there was a suggestion from China that both India and China should withdraw from the Finger-4 area equally. However, China's offer is not acceptable to India.

Currently the Chinese army is around Finger-5 around Pangong Tso Lake and they have deployed a large number of troops and weapons at a distance of more than five kilometers from Finger 5 to 8. The Indian side has always told China that the Chinese army should move from the Finger area to its former base. Sources said it was impossible to accept the Chinese party's proposal.
