China had made major preparations months before the Galvan clashes, the report revealed

Ladakh, Ta. 11 August 2020, Tuesday

The clash of Chinese troops with the Indian Army in the Galvan Valley was not only a coincidence but China also made preparations for it. Various reports from the US intelligence and Indian security agencies have revealed that China had already made heavy preparations to infiltrate the Galvan and Hot Spring areas, ranging from Finger-4. In addition, China has already deployed sophisticated weapons in some areas.

A satellite image from April this year revealed that the Chinese military was deploying specially designed and lightweight tanks along the border. Some reports have surfaced over the tank's deployment in Tibet since last year, but its motives have been clear since China began infiltrating Indian territory near the LAC.

The T-15 (ZTPQ) tank weighs 30 tons and is equipped with a 105 mm gun so that it can be easily used even in mountainous areas. It is claimed that the tank can be moved to another location by helicopter but no page of this report could be found.

According to reports from security agencies, the Indian Army has already deployed state-of-the-art T-90 tanks at LAC in view of reports of deployment of T-15 tanks in Ladakh. However, according to security experts, the Chinese tank T-15 can be easily moved to another location, but in comparison, the T-90 tanks weigh 45 tons.

The government has asked the military to be ready at all times to face any challenges from China. The central government has also agreed to buy lighter tanks like the T-15. Notably, T-72, T-90 and Arjun tanks are already involved in the Indian Army which is very useful in the field areas.

However, India does not have an answer to the deployment of T-15 tanks by the Chinese military. India is deploying M-777 guns, which were recently inducted into the Army and ordered from the US, from Arunachal Pradesh to Ladakh. India has procured 145 M-777 guns which are being deployed in 7 different regiments of the Army.

One regiment has 18 guns. The most special thing about the M-777 gun is that it can be carried from one place to another by helicopter. The Indian Army has also deployed US Chinook Heavy Lift Helicopters at LAC. Thus full preparations have been made to respond to China's T-15 tanks.

China has T-95 tanks which are equivalent to or below India's T-90. Under these circumstances, the T-90 tank is a major response if China launches an offensive, which is why the army delivered the tank to Ladakh in early June.
